The March Hat Attack was discovered at Papillion Vintage in Jerome, Arizona. It’s blue velvet fabric covers blocked buckram, and the bow in the back makes for a great exit.
Blue is one of my favorite colors, and I decided to go monochromatic. There’s no such thing as an overdose of cobalt blue!

As usual a stricking hat and appearance. I was eyeing a hatmaker’s site in the Netherlands, as I have come to realize that fit is key. But first I need to save some money.

Such a powerful shade of blue, and it just explodes against your snow-white hair. You can wear hats that are extremely dramatic in shape and bold in colour and they never overwhelm you.
