Hat Attack #15
The SC discovered this black velvet headpiece with feather and red velvet bow at The Vintage Studio HERE in Minneapolis during my recent trip to Minnesota. I was immediately attracted to its ability to capture my attention, perched on a rack filled with dozens of beauties. It flew to my head at the drop of a hat.
I didn’t resist its magnetic appeal, and it accompanied me home. I’m looking forward to wearing it at the earliest opportunity. Out to dinner. A party. Or another evening event that calls for a feather to elevates my spirit.

What a beauty, Judith, especially with the smart suit and jewels you’ve paired it with. The little red velvet bow is a great accent. Love your photos. Daniel, you’re a schtar!
Loving the elegant neckline on your jacket and that fabulous hat. You remind me of that famous Norman Parkinson shot from 1949 with the ladies overlooking NYC.
Hope your holiday continues to thrill! x
It’s like a little bird is perched lightly on your hat, but without all the messy repurcussions!
The velvet bow is such a gorgeous finishing touch.
You do such a service for hats.
Loving the photos from Barcelona. Especially the stained glass Gaudi. LIke being inside a jewellery box.
Hope you are feeling like a queen, because you are.
My post is about being yourself, and not being afraid to be noticed. Wearing a hat certainly makes you noticed, and you stand out like a beacon. I love it! xo JJ
I have something on my head today, yeahhhhhhhhhhh
Thank you my dear friend

Oh yes, that is indeed a very uplifting and elegant hat, Judith! The little red bow is a lovely touch, and as always, you have an old Hollywood glamour that is just beautiful. xxx
What an elegant hat – you look gorgeous!
Lovely, with a feather in your cap! I am joining in, even though I have no hat — just a wee hairpiece. xox
I love the drama of the colors in this hat of yours. It’s very simple, but the red is unexpected. It certainly flew to the right head! I wouldn’t know which way to put the feather, but you have a knack for the best arrangement.
I simply love how that beautiful headpiece just flew to your head. I don’t blame it at all, it knew where it belonged. That white and red speckled feather is quite the eye capturing little detail and looks so loving next to the black.
Such a wonderful piece!
