Hat Attack #35
June’s Hat Attack was created by artist, milliner and blogger Carol Markel of Femme et Fleur HERE. This colorful fedora accompanied me back to Denver after my most recent visit to NYC. I’ve worn Carol’s hats before on Style Crone, but this chapeau deserved it’s very own feature on Hat Attack.
The magnificent colors and shapes that adorn this hat were irresistible to me, and I happened to find a vintage neon pink jacket in my closet that could accessorize its strength. This hat is the main event!

Thank you to Deborah Boland for featuring Style Crone as a Fabulous After 40 Styleblazer HERE. I was thrilled to be interviewed and to be referred to as “The Queen of Hats.” Deborah has a passion for fashion and for supporting other bloggers with her Styleblazer Series.
Linking up with Catherine’s #iwillwearwhatilike HERE at Not Dressed As Lamb and Patti’s Visible Monday HERE at Not Dead Yet Style.
Now it’s your turn to throw a little headwear love my way!
Please display your hat, headwrap, headscarf, headpiece, fascinator, hair flower, headband or other adornment for your head that you adore, give The SC a JUNE HAT ATTACK and kindly link to Style Crone somewhere in your post. Can’t wait to see the beautiful contributions that you share throughout the next week. Participation will be open through Tuesday, June 7th.

I really like your blog and I look forward to posts. I admire all your styling. Colored hat is beautiful.
What a funky hat, Judith! I love all the bold shapes and colours – the pink blazer is so perfect with it. I’m thrilled to be back this month – I always seem to miss you! Stay fabulous, m’dear, and thank you for hosting!
Love it! It’s a little more… dapper? You’re always beautifully stylish, but this has a touch of masculine whimsy that’s a bit of a departure for you. Wonderful as always.

Judith,
You look beautiful as always! I really like how you combine two dynamic pieces and effortlessly make them sing together.
Am so glad to participate this month’s Hat Attack … albeit in an over-sized headband. It’s just too hot here for felted hats. Also, am super glad because YOU have inspired me to dress up beyond my usual millinery bits.
Thank you! I hope to continue this cheering improvement!
Love those colours! I am a massive fan of hats. I find that as I get older my hats are getting bigger and more elaborate. By the time I’m 60 I’ll be wearing a house roof on my head 🙂

Hi Judith,
I just had to weigh in here and thank you for wearing the hat that I designed on your post today. You are so super and beautiful. I am so happy that I know you and that you wear my hats!
Love,
Carol
I recognized the hat as a Carol Markel creation as soon as I saw it! The colours are so smile-inducing and really funk up the classic shape.
Hats on this dress really look awesome.. Great
