  1. Thank you so much for showing us these gorgeous pieces up close. The details and workmanship are stunningly beautiful, wearable masterpieces!

  2. Oh! Thank you, SC! The drape of that hat is breathtaking. How do you keep a white vintage hat from looking drab?

  3. Judith, thank you for your comments and encouragment on the post about FEAR. I want you to know that you epitomize COURAGE to me and I know to others. Not only are you courageous with your style and fashion choices, but you are most courageous with your openness about your current walk with your beloved Nelson. Your example gives others so much courage and strength. Thank you from all who followyou!

    BTW…love that scarf!

  4. All of your clothes and accessories have such lovely details. Sending love and smiles your way!

  5. Thank you so much for the close ups, Judith.
I have noticed that your blog takes a long time to load.
I thought you might want to know.
    Much love always.

  6. Dear Judith,
Question – how do you keep your beautiful clothes and accessories in such pristine
condition? Do you store them a certain way? In view of the fact that you probably have
so many wonderful things already – how do you make decisions on new purchases?
And, Nelson – my thoughts are prayers are with you always!

  7. Judith,

I am new to your blog. I am currently a Home Support nurse with a background in Palliative care. I started getting interested in working with people in the last stages of living several years ago when my mom was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. I then became a client at our local Hospice as I have learned to deal with what is called, “anticipatory grief”. Those words sound so nice and wrapped up but it has been brutally hard on so many levels. I have dealt with this on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. It has taken my neat little life and thrown it in every direction. As hard as it has been it has actually now focused my direction. I now know I want to become a Hospice Chaplain. When I read your blog I am so grateful that both you and Nelson have Hospice. I believe in the work of Hospice like I believe in my higher power. You do not need to be strong. You don’t need to keep your chin up. Let all the beautiful and good that surrounds you fill your spirit and come over you like a warm blanket.
My thoughts and prayers are being sent your way. Namaste. Namaste. Namaste.

  8. Thank you for your question, Rebecca. I store my clothing in hanging canvas covers so the fabric can breathe and my hats are stored in hat boxes off season. Right now I’m trying to shop my own closets and not bring in new purchases. If I do purchase an item, it has to be absolutely fabulous, beautiful and unique, and the right price.

  9. Thank you for your question, Linda. Keeping white vintage hats pristine is not always easy. I keep my special white hats in boxes, and that seems to do the trick.
