Picasso Scarf

Silk Picasso scarf, green vintage jacket, yellow beads and yellow vintage shoes – estate sales, yellow cap – Nordstrom’s.
Sometimes a large square scarf is too beautiful to tie around the neck or drape across the shoulders; much of the detail is lost in the process. The Style Crone solved that problem by wearing the scarf as a skirt with jeans and a turtleneck. The scarf doesn’t completely cover the jeans on one side, but it didn’t matter in the least. Even though the “foundation ” for this outfit appears black in the photo, the true color is navy, and navy is repeated frequently in the design of the scarf. As luck would have it, I found two more large silk square Picasso scarves with different colors and designs at an estate sale today for a dollar a piece. More skirts in the making!! I felt like a “manifestress” and that’s something to laugh out loud about!
I love this!!! How clever of you, and the result looks fabulous!
what a wonderful scarf and an even more wonderful idea!
That is such a genius scarf! Wow! Lovely thing to have there.
