The Style Crone received an email over a month ago from a friend of a friend who inquired about my shoe size. When I informed her of my size, she said that she had two pairs of vintage shoes with matching bags and was eager to show them to me. Now there’s an offer I would never refuse and I was more than enthusiastic in my response! We met for tea and I tried on the shoes, which fit perfectly. She wanted The SC to have them as a gift and I promised to give them a new life.  Promise kept with gratitude!  Generosity and extraordinary kindness can appear from any place at any time!
