The Style Crone loves the concrete of the city as much as she enjoys the flowering trees of the parks and neighborhoods. The buildings and the trees both stretch and reach for the same sky, providing life enhancing variety, contrast, and diversity. So downtown to Dixons on a Friday afternoon for lunch, laughter, and conversation with a friend who we met along the way. A magical afternoon with Nelson by my side, taking photos on the street with the city bus reflected in the window of the restaurant that we have frequented over the years, bringing back memories of hat wearing days past. With the April chill in the air there is no need to take off my gloves or my felt hats until the weather warms and the seasonal transition is complete.

Glad you were able to get out and about. The outfit is charming and the boots give it that extra sizzle…love a stiletto heel and pointed toe! The hat and gloves put it magically over the top. Lovely.
