There have been questions about the origin of this colorful and unique vintage coat that The SC wore on Advanced Style. So here’s the story. A friend found the coat hanging on a dumpster several years ago, and The Style Crone was generously gifted with this work of art. I have been forced to wear it ever since and sometimes I hang it in the door frame of the hat room to view frequently for entertainment and pleasure. Treasures can be found anywhere at any time if we keep our eyes open and dumpster diving cannot be ruled out! The coat was made in Italy with the label Ken Scott for Bloomingdale’s and is 100% linen, lined, and in perfect condition. I find it to be extremely warm as it envelops me completely on even the most bitter of cold days.
