The Style Crone appreciates the mix of vintage with contemporary, but with this outfit every item is from an estate sale and everything is vintage except for the Dooney & Bourke bag. The floaty Easter egg print silk dress is from the 30’s, which is one of my favorite eras. The shoes and the fabric beret are from the 40’s. The belt and the earrings are a toss up and I could probably “nail it” with some investigation.
I wore elements of this outfit to lunch with a friend on a very hot day, and the breeze captured the silk chiffon dress in its loving embrace. It was a “chemo pump” day and Nelson was “holding on”, which is one of the Bob Marley messages that helps him as he receives lifesaving poison from a small transparent bag. I was comforted by an antique garment and the wind.
