Nelson is participating in a chemo eve photo shoot with The Style Crone wearing a vintage orange structured beret, mirroring the leaves ablaze with color. This chapeau spent crisp fall days with the SC at work in the past, and today is brisk and chilled, indicating the Colorado winter is imminent.
Today Nelson’s energy is at its highest level as he has recovered from the effects of the drugs he received two weeks ago. Tomorrow looms on the horizon as we prepare for our early morning journey to the facility where he will again receive the substances that keep his disease at bay, knowing that he will return home in a much altered state. There is a certain rhythm to our lives based on this two week cycle of assault and recovery. We would choose a different tempo if we could!
