I think this photo is a little blurry, but it mirrors our day.  Nelson’s tumor markers are going up, and that has never happened before during the time that he’s been receiving chemo.  The plan is to wait for two weeks when he has his next treatment, and evaluate at that time.  Hopefully the numbers will move downward again.  Needless to say,  “concern” is the word of the day.

My “chemo outfit” includes a teal 60’s silk jacket that I found at an estate sale two weeks ago for a grand total of four dollars; the 60’s hat and the scarf are also from estate sales over the years.  The pants and shoes are from Buffalo Exchange.  My outfit calms me.

  1. Chemo-Man here! This Wed chemo session, the patient next to me made an attempt to steal my fab SC. He could barely lift his head but spotted my FAB SC and was instantly smitten. Wanted to know if she would come every Wed to the chemo lounge; it apparently lifted his spirits. Yo, fellow chemo patient, go find your own FAB SC. Don’t make me get ugly!
