Another Sunday morning of delight unfolded as The SC paged through The New York Times Style Magazine, and discovered an ad by the jewelry designer Alexis Bittar with Lauren Hutton as the face of his new campaign, with photographs by Jack Pierson.  Click HERE for more photos and a video of this stunning and inspirational 67 year old model/actress who has stated, ‘Our wrinkles are our medals of the passage of life. They are what we have been through and who we want to be.’  Bravo!

  1. How fantastic to hear this in a land of botox:‘Our wrinkles are our medals of the passage of life. They are what we have been through and who we want to be.
Much love always, my dear friend.

  2. I have always thought Lauren Hutton was gorgeous, but not in the cookie cutter “look like everyone else” type of mold. My wrinkles are the passage of time, and also the fact that sunscreen wasn’t around when I was a young thing. I’d just as soon let how much “passage of time” has gone past remain a mystery!

Loved the logo for Alexis Bittar’s work!

    Much love from England,

  3. Hot Haute Haaawwwwwwt. We are just going to get more and more beautiful as we age, with wrinkles of experience and scars of the heart.
    Bring it on.

  4. We are all earning our wrikles day by day. They are the roadmaps of the places we have been. Thanks for posting this. Beautiful.

  5. Hear, hear! Real beauty is a product of many things: age, experience and attitude to name just a few.
