January’s Hat Attack is a vintage black draped fabric turban embellished with a sparkling rhinestone pin.  I discovered this New Year’s crown in a Minneapolis vintage store this past year.  I can’t think of a better way to celebrate 2018 than with my love for vintage and turbans.

There is nothing that makes me feel like dancing more than headwear and having fun with Daniel to a rhythm and blues beat.  I’m hoping to up my “Hat Attack” game in the new year.  Let’s see what this fresh energy brings forward as I mediate on new intentions.

I wish all of my beautiful followers and commenters the very best of 2018.  I wish for collective health, peace and and hope as we transition to 2018.  I am forever grateful for your ongoing presence in my life. Style Crone would not exist but for all of you! Thank you from the bottom of my Style Crone heart!

Thank you Daniel, for your talent, love of adventure and theatre, and you loyal support.  Style Crone would not exist without you and your magical eye!

  2. Judith, what a gorgeous vintage turban! I am still waiting for my blue velvet turban to arrive. Although it is not vintage, I am super excited to try it out. You look stunning as always. And black is really a striking color for you! Just gorgeous!

Wishing you all the best for a happy and healthy new year.

  3. Looking forward to enjoying the coming year of your grace, beauty, style and creativity as your live to your fullest intention! Best wishes to you and Daniel in your journey ahead.XOX

  4. Happy New Year, my fabulous friend! No one wears a turban quite like you and the Leg o’ Mutton sleeves are fabulously dramatic and very Victorian. xxx

  5. I love how beautiful you look in all your photos. I would love to wear hats but when I do my short fine hair either clings to my head or takes the shape of my hat. This isn’t a problem if you do not take off your head gear when out and about. However, sometimes the hat must come off. Any suggestions for a woman without a bountiful mane of hair that falls gracefully from a doffed hat but rather sticks to her poor head in a less than graceful fashion?

  6. Happy New Year to you Judith , thank you for your always glorious hat inspiration. This beautiful turban with its rhinestone pin is another wonderful find and so perfect on you. Thank you for hosting Hat Attack.
