April’s Hat Attack was discovered in a vintage shop in Jerome, Arizona during my trip to Sedona in January. I was captivated by its intricate floral display in shades of blue and lavender, trimmed with a purple velvet ribbon.  It represents the beginning of spring, with its whimsical bouquet.

Though snow remains in Denver’s City Park, a few flowering trees are beginning to reveal their first hint of spring’s brilliant show.  April’s chapeau is an announcement of this year’s season of renewal and new beginnings!

  7. Oh so many gorgeous women in hats! I’m sad that I missed out this time, especially for spring. Try as I might, my sproingy hair screamed every time I put one on. Heh. The garden on your head is magnificent!! I’m glad I can at least visit and enjoy the show. Thank you.
