Hat Attack #34

April 30th, 2016

May’s Hat Attack is a headpiece created by Heather Stoten of The Hat Workshop HERE in Boulder, Colorado.  I’ve blogged about Heather’s fine millinery couture before on Style Crone, and a recent trip to her studio revealed this beautiful silk organza ruffle hat which immediately landed on my head.

I’ve also written about how I don’t have to possess every stunning piece of headwear that I meet in my travels!

Wearing it briefly and documenting the experience with a photo can be enough.  And featuring its beauty on Hat Attack is frosting, which I can taste again.  And again. By pulling up these photos and inhaling its pink splendor whenever I choose.  It’s like having a virtual hat room which I can curate without ownership.  This is a practice I would like to develop with more depth.

Now it’s your turn to throw a little headwear love my way!

Please display your hat, headwrap, headscarf, headpiece, fascinator, hair flower, headband or other adornment for your head that you adore, give The SC a MAY HAT ATTACK and kindly link to Style Crone somewhere in your post. Can’t wait to see the beautiful contributions that you share throughout the next week. Participation will be open through Saturday, May 7th.

    What a stunning hat Judith!!
And very smart to take pictures of it and feature it on your blog without adding it to your collection!! I may have to think of how I can do that!!

A Mayday confection. What a beautiful hat. As someone else said, the color suits you but then you can carry off so much effortlessly.

Sometimes just being able to wear a beautiful thing for a few minutes is enough, like when I was able to wear that spectacular coat at the Vintage Show last October, and if you can document the moment to relive later, even better.

Of course you look amazing with a rose on your head – positively blooming 🙂

Your black ensemble showcases this fuschia hat off beautifully. You’re right Judith, you don’t have to own it to appreciate it. This wonderful platform that you have here is the perfect way to share these amazing confections with others. And it’s limitless which has to be a bonus. Have a lovely week x

Love the floral wonder of your beautiful hat, Judith! Both the color and form are superb – kudos to Heather Stoten, its creator.

And of course, you look wonderful wearing it. I’d imagine that your ‘new hair color’ has opened up opportunities to wear fun ‘new’ hues! Thank you, as always!
